Adventures in Eating Clean

I'm not going to pretend that I'm going to jump back on the blogging bandwagon ... I probably won't. Not anytime soon anyway. But I thought I would share some links to my favorite recipes lately in this journey called Clean Eating that our family is pursuing. Since reading the book "Why Women Need Fat" (which should be only a few posts below this one), my perspective and my life has been changed. We are eating as many whole foods and organics as we can afford to, and in the process I've come across some fabulous recipes that my family loves!

Here you go:

Homemade Granola Bars (I added choc chips, sunflower seeds and coconut. The first time I forgot the flour and they were TO DIE for. I remembered the flour this time and they are still awesome, but not as sweet, thankfully!)


Chicken and Quinoa Pilaf (the family LOVES this especially. I cut out the olives though.)



Snicker Snackers Great (secretly healthy) snack for the kids!
